Sewing 101: The Basics (Saturday-January)

Welcome to Sewing 101! This is a 4 consecutive week class and you do not need any prior sewing knowledge to join.
Dates: January 10th, January 17th, January 24th, and January 31st.
Times: All four classes are held 9am-10:30am.
Price listed is the total for all 4 weeks.
Week 1: We will learn the basics of a sewing machine, thread it, wind a bobbin, and use the stitch selector. You will have the opportunity to make a mini kid pillow to take home with you.
Week 2: You'll learn to sew a placemat.
Week 3: You'll learn to sew a mini tote bag.
Week 4: You'll learn to sew a drawstring bag.
The goal of this course is that you will learn the fundamental skills needed to confidently operate a sewing machine, understand fabric types, and complete sewing projects. We hope to build confidence so you can move onto more advanced sewing projects/classes in the future!
Must be 12 years or older to attend class solo. Younger ages can attend classes with a parent/guardian.
